Hello everyone!

Let me start by saying that so far we’re keeping our schedule of releasing the consumer version of the RacingCUBE by the end of February. I’m sorry for the lack of updates the last few months, but I can assure you that a lot has happened! We’re focusing on finishing and polishing the consumer version. Unfortunately, I can’t show it at the moment as our engineer won’t let me until it’s completely done. It should not be very long, but we want to make sure it’s as easy to use as possible. Keep in mind that you will now be purchasing a finished product.

I’ve been allowed to highlight some of the new and upgraded features that comes with the consumer version:

  • New and stronger motors (we’re raising the maximum load from 130kg to minimum 150kg dependent on weight distribution)
  • Improved and stronger framework
  • Redesigned controller
  • Improved wheel configuration
  • Highly configurable
  • Upgradable parts, (specifications coming soon)
  • No maintenance
  • A lot of accessories will be available
  • Redesigned feedback system
  • Adjustable steering wheel support, foot support and seat

This is only some of the features the consumer version will offer, in the near future I’ll post pictures and videos of it.

When can I order it?

As we’re keeping our schedule, we’re going to release prices and configurations within weeks, we want to make sure that it’s perfect and we want you to have the best experience. Our Kickstarter backers will get the first batch, after that our pre-order site will come online.

What about Virtual Reality?

We’re focusing mainly on VR, the Oculus Rift DK2 works perfect with the RacingCUBE and we’re making sure the consumer version will too. When other brand becomes available well test those also.

As soon as the consumer version is finished I’ll post pictures and more detailed specs about it, until then we’ll all have to wait.
From now on I’ll use this page for updates and news. You can also follow us on Facebook, Kickstarter and YouTube.
